Approvals / Certifications: meets or exceeds 1st Article Test Requirements of Military Specification MIL-C-20079H for Type I. Class 9 fabrics. Certified to government military standard MIL-I-24244C (SH) and U.S. Coast Guard Specification 164.009. Meets or exceeds NRC Guide 1.36. Meets or exceeds NFPA 701 Specification for materials that withstand high temperature without supporting combustion. Approved by Underwriters Laboratory to Specification UL-214 for flame propagation and UL-723 test shows 0 flame spread, 0 fuel contribution and 0 smoke development.

Applications: Lightweight lagging fabric developed for insulation pads, pipe lagging, safety barriers, safety curtains, garments, and protective shields.

Insul-Shield Fiberglass Fabric

General Description: Insul-Shield fabric is made from highly texturized silica yarn.

Approvals / Certifications: Meets or exceeds NFPA 701 Specification for materials that withstand high temperature without supporting combustion. Approved by Underwriters Laboratory to Specification UL-214 for flame propagation and UL-723 test shows 0 flame spread, 0 fuel contribution, and 0 smoke development. Meets U.S. Coast Guard Specification 164.009.

Applications: Typical applications include high temperature expansion joints, curtains, blankets, drop cloth for light to medium applications. Industries include construction, power plants, basic metals industries, chemical processing plants, and petroleum refineries.

Abrasion Resistance,Taber: To failure using CS 10 wheel with 1000 gm weight resistance at 50% vacuum level.

Temperature: Continuous temperature to 1100° F (593° C) and higher short duration temperatures.

Plus Fabrics

General Description: These fabrics are made from highly texturized amorphous silica yarn and have a vermiculite high temperature treatment.

Applications: Typical applications include high temperature expansion joints, curtains, blankets and drop cloths for medium to heavy industrial applications, flue ducts, turbine insulations, and gasketing. Typical industries include thermal and nuclear power plants, refineries and petro-chemical industries, filtration, steel, aluminum, copper and other basic metal industries, turbine insulation, heating treating, stress relieving, automotive and industrial maintenance.

Temperatures: Continuous temperature to 1500° F (815° C) and 2000° F (1093° C) for short duration temperatures.

Ordering Information: Standard Widths are 40" - 60", Standard Lengths of Rolls is 50 yards.

General Description: Durable coated fiberglass fabric to reduce airborne fiber emission is suited for a wide range of welding applications. Ideal for blankets, curtains, screens, and machine covers. Not recommended for horizontal use.

Black Slag Shed

General Description: Black Slag is coated with a proprietary coating. The base fabric is manufactured using highly texturized silica yarn. Abrasion resistant coating for tough welding applications. Will shed molten spatter and sparks to 3000° F if used on a 15° or greater incline away from the heat source. Recommended for curtains, blankets and screens.
