The rigorous demands of transporting temperature sensitive asphalt paving materials call for tough and efficient truck coverings. To meet those requirements, Mauritzon uses two of the finest available fabrics in the manufacturing of tie-down asphalt truck covers.
Vinyl Coated Fabric. We furnish the highest quality 18-oz. vinyl coated fabric available on the market. This fabric provides superior strength for those all-season asphalt haulers who demand maximum durability, puncture resistance, as well as ease of handling. All seams are heat sealed for totally weather tight protection.
Available colors: Black, Blue, Red, White, Green, Yellow, Brown, Grey, Sky Blue.
16 oz. - Special asphalt vinyl. Black only - takes higher temperatures than standard vinyl and is resistant to kerosene.
Asphalt truck covers are available in flat or form-fitted nose style, and can also be specified with pockets to accumulate 1" x 4" stay-down boards. As with all Mauritzon truck covers, they come standard with our high quality rolled rim brass grommets and spur washers spaced every 24", and heavy-duty hems sewn with special mildew-resistant thread.
Tie down ropes are available. Rubber tie downs with "s" hooks are available in 10", 15", 21", 31" and 41" lengths.
